One of the big changes in people's thinking has been to put God on trial for all the evil things we see in this life. So in Romans Chapter 3:1-8 we see a very different picture, that it's humanity that has to answer for evil, even if we come from a place of spiritual privilege like the Jews did in the days when the Apostle Paul wrote these words. We see past hang-ups about God being put to good use, present blessings that make you more responsible for trusting in God, and a picture of faithfulness for the future.
